Michael Spisak leads Cybersecurity R&D for Unit 42 at Palo Alto Networks. He is focused on prototyping “over the horizon” capabilities to address emerging threats, with a special emphasis on applied AI and automation. Michael has been with Palo Alto Networks since 2023 and drawing on his background as a Master Inventor and engineer with over 40 patents, he now focuses on de-risking the future for Unit 42's consultants and clients. Beyond cyber research, Michael enjoys tracking the emerging startup landscape and future tech trends.
